Scientists Found Something Very Scary In The Eye Of Typhoon Lawin (HAIMA)!

Be careful Filipinos! Researchers have detected perilous atmosphere exercises like lightning streaks and gravity waves inside the eye of super storm Lawin.

Utilizing satellite sensors, researchers from University of Wisconsin-Madison's Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies uncovered that their satellite-based Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) sensors demonstrated lightning streaks, gravity waves, mesovortices inside the eye.

They saw it under the watchful eye of Lawin landfell on Cagayan region.

As indicated by the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), barometrical gravity waves shape when lightness pushes air up, and gravity pulls it withdraw. Considers have demonstrated that tropical violent winds produce gravity waves.

Mesovortices are turning groups of air found inside tempests and the eyewall of tropical twisters.

Super tropical storm Lawin made landfall in PeƱablanca, Cagayan last 11 p.m. on Wednesday, as per PAGASA.
